Pursuant to Section 3 and 5 of the Sacco Societies Act as read with Regulations 2020, all SACCO Societies intending to undertake Specified Non-Deposit Taking Business are required to obtain a valid authorization certificate from the Authority. The forms and documents for making an application for authorization maybe obtained from here.
The Authority has developed a portal to be used by NON-Withdrawable Deposit Taking SACCOs.
This portal is currently in use and improves the efficiency of SACCO registrations, SACCO return submissions and data analysis.
