The Financial Sector Stability Report, 2025

The Financial Sector Stability Report is a publication prepared by the Central Bank of Kenya in collaboration with SASRA and other financial sector regulators. As a contributing regulator, SASRA plays a key role in providing sector-specific data and insights on the performance, risks, and emerging issues affecting Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies.

The Report serves as an important tool for both the public and stakeholders by assessing developments in the economy and the wider financial sector. It identifies key risks and vulnerabilities that could affect financial system stability and outlines the policy actions undertaken by regulators, government, and other stakeholders to address them.

For SASRA, participation in this joint effort reinforces our mandate of promoting a financially inclusive, member-centric, and stable SACCO industry. The Report also provides a platform for informed public dialogue on financial stability issues, supporting evidence-based policy interventions and sustainable economic development.
