Earlier today, Hon. Wycliffe Oparanya, EGH, Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Co-operatives and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), presided over the signing of Performance Contracts for the financial year 2024/2025. This pivotal event involved the Ministry’s State Departments and Semi-Autonomous Government Agencies (SAGAs) and underscores the Ministry’s commitment to fostering a culture of performance management and efficient service delivery in alignment with the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BeTA).
The signing ceremony reflects a renewed dedication to delivering transformative services to citizens, particularly within the Sacco subsector. To ensure seamless implementation, the Performance Contracts will be cascaded to Departmental Heads and units across the Ministry, guaranteeing alignment with its priority programs and the broader BeTA framework aimed at improving the livelihoods and welfare of Kenyans.
