SASRA mounts a Financial Services Public Awareness Campaign in Embu County

The Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) in partnership with Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR)  mounted a Financial Services Public Awareness Campaign in Embu County from 18th – 22nd Sept, 2023 to create public awareness on the financial services and addressing complaints.
The Authority believes that engaging member of the public on their rights as consumers of financial products builds market confidence which is a key ingredient to financial inclusion.
By the end of the week, participants from Mbeere North, Mbeere South, Embu East, West & North Sub counties were taken through complaint resolution and redress mechanisms as well as other available redress mechanisms in the market. Benefits of being a Sacco member like value preposition, how to be a Sacco member and available financial products in Saccos were also  highlighted.
